Doing my pictures with Sydney was an awesome experience, we got to go to so many locations and I was able to do multiple outfit changes and really everything I wanted. She's very open to trying new ideas and I got to do some really cool things and get some awesome pictures from it. If you're considering her for any kind of pictures I would definitely recommend her. What follows are unsolicited comments based on what I know about Sydney and her work as a photographer. I base my observations mostly on shoulder-to-shoulder work with her over the span of the last six months. The two of us share responsibility for most of the photography for a local animal shelter. With the caveat that I am a complete Sydney fan, here goes:
Her work ethic is remarkable, especially so for a young person…remarkable nonetheless. Sydney comes early, stays late, comes in when not expected and in general, does whatever it takes to get the job done. She’s at home with people, animals and technology…fearless I might say with animals and technology…intuitive with people.
Sydney’s technical skill with imaging equipment and related software is evolving rapidly. Her current expertise can be seen in her web portfolio. More important I think, is her relentless path to new levels. In addition to her formal education, her plan to “shadow accomplished photographers in multiple photography disciplines” is a solid formula for success.
In closing, I say again that I am a Sydney fan…unapologetically. I’ve been fortunate to work with many young aspiring professionals in my “corporate America job”…enough to recognize a winner when I see one. You can judge Sydney’s work for yourself via her website…as I have done myself. If you choose to work with her on your photography needs, I believe you will see what I see.
